Interactive Trilinos Workshop with Mike Heroux

Dear HP2C Teams,

We would like to invite you to a workshop/discussion with Trilinos guru, Mike Heroux, from Sandia Nat. Labs. We would like the event to be very informal, with teams bringing up issues for Mike to field, as well as Mike giving us an update and road map for Trilinos.

11.00  Discussion (all, HP2C projects needs, future plans, etc.)

12.00 - 13.00 lunch

13.00  Trilinos on future systems and programming environments  (Mike Heroux, Sandia)
13.30  Trilinos tuning on existing and emerging Cray systems (Adrian Tate, Cray Switzerland)
14.00  Discussion (all, identify tuning and optimization opportunities for HP2C projects on future systems)

15.00  Coffee break

15.15  Mantevo brief intro and path forward  (Mike Heroux, Sandia)
15.45  Kernel extraction MAQUIS project (Will Sawyer, CSCS)
16.00  Collaboration opportunities (all, with tuning framework and high level PE e.g. PGAS)
16.45  Summary, next steps and wrap up (CSCS)
