The core project group concentrates the basic competences in computational sciences required to support the development of high-performance high productivity applications. It comprises 12 computational scientists with background in applied mathematics and computer science jointly appointed between ETH Zurich/CSCS and USI and located in Lugano, partly funded through this project, partly through own means of the two institutions.
